What we do with your details
What the enquiry form takes is a name, a contact number, a suburb and whatever you write about the job. Alongside it we store which page you sent it from, because that is how we find out which parts of this site are useful. Nothing else is captured, none of it goes anywhere except to the person who quotes your wall, and submitting it does not subscribe you to anything.
The number published across this site routes through a call tracking service before it reaches us. You are talking to us either way. The service logs the number you dialled from, when you rang and how long the call ran. Messages left on voicemail are held until somebody has dealt with them, then removed.
Nothing on these pages watches you. There is no analytics tag, no advertising tracker, no embedded chat and no code loaded from anybody else's server, so this site cannot follow you elsewhere and does not try. Our host counts requests, which tells us how many people opened a page and nothing whatsoever about who they were.
An enquiry that never turns into a job is deleted once it is a year old. Where we have priced or built something, the file stays for seven years, which is what the tax rules and the statutory warranty period on building work between them require.
If you want your details gone, ring the number on this site and say so. Everything we are not obliged by law to retain gets deleted, and no explanation is expected of you.
